Life lies in a pause…
This line punched me deep inside and inspired me to take a break from mechanical routine life filled with working, sleeping, eating….and to explore thyself in closeness to Nature who like a loving Mother, always believe in giving what we desire and require.
My inclination was to visit a place close to Delhi and should be surrounded with dense greenery, small hills and tidy lakes. A place filled with tranquility, scenic beauty, mesmerizing picturesque and away from commercial hassles was on my mind.
On free advice of a good traveler friend, I opted for Sat-Tal (a place of 7 Lakes). A 6 hour comfortable train journey from Delhi landed me at a place which is also sought after by demigods for practicing austerity. I chose V-Resorts as my staying partner because of its mesmerizing picturesque location and some good reviews about its congenial staff, affordable pricing, great food and customized services.
I read from a famous book titled “The Secret” that Universe comes in full strength to fulfill our deep thoughts/feelings. On 1st day, while standing on the top of the hill and with gratitude in my voice and feelings, I appealed Mother Nature to open itself to me; I was deeply wishing to know how she operates, what is the purpose and role of every living entity in this voluminous universe. In the midst of tranquility and closeness, I truly wanted to hear the deep mysteries, the unknown.
To my greatest surprise, while enjoying a sumptuous dinner with other guests of V-Resorts, I met Mr. Shyam Sunder Sharma – a travel guide and bird lover who came to the place with a US family to visit a nearby bird sanctuary and to closely watch amazing birds. I felt privileged to hear from Mr. Shyam Sunder on the various aspect on nature’s activities, complete food chain and role of various animals in this whole spectacular system.
Shyam : Do you think if all Tigers are dead, we all humans will be dead.
Me : No. How’s that? How we the humans, a superior race depends on the living of Tigers.
Shyam : Do you see any positive role of Eagles in the nature ?
Me : No. Eagles just eat the dead animals. What best they do for humanity?
Shyam : Tiger plays the role of a Terrifying Manager and Eagle as a Sweeper giving tremendous benefit to the nature and human society…….
Shyam kept on explaining me for an another hour, every unknown aspect of Nature with scientific and logical explanation, he learned, observed and experienced while the bonfire was making the slightly chilling atmosphere a truly heavenly experience.
I was thrilled and in awe after knowing that every living creature has a specific role to play. It is like we all are part of a never ending story, we all are working in a Big canvas Movie where every character has a specific role to play. And no role is good or bad but every role has some significance. If there’s no villain in a movie, strength and aura of Hero will be difficult to test and appreciate.
Next morning, it was time to dare and experience a 4km deep forest Solo Trekking to watch different species of birds and a beautiful waterfall along with picturesque landscapes. Sitting alone and silently beside the waterfall for 40 minutes in that deep forest was seemingly the best way to connect with Nature and pleading her to make me realize my predefined role and goal in this magnanimous Universe.
Upon looking widely, I find people who knowingly or unknowingly are working as per their role, un-importantly negative or positive, getting all empowerment and facilities from the universe to perform better. You can count renowned people from business, political, professional or creative world – check their rags to riches stories; just working in sync with the universe they got fame and every facility in abundance. Whosoever plays their part sincerely, gets all due appreciation and reward. The Universe is the producer and Nature is the director for our life’s big movie. The only lacking thing with most of us is awareness of our respective role as an artist in this universal movie.
Mediation is the best and the only way to dive deep inside and find our strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes, what comes to us naturally and what requires a hell of struggle. Self-Realization is all about knowing the self and the role to play in this larger picture.
Once realized, we will not be bothered about why and what others are doing. Rather, we start enjoying our acts and life moment-by-moment as a good watcher, as we enjoy a movie and every character played beautifully.
Reading great minds, coming close to Nature and practicing Meditation are the best tools to know thyself; to know our role and goals in this universe and lead a fulfilling Life….
